These trips are for someone who is serious about their tuna fishing and offer the best chance to load the boat with numbers of yellowfin and blackfin tuna. We fish the canyons from 40 to 100 miles offshore. The trip begins around 12pm and will run until the following morning at noon.

Also, at certain times of the year it is not unusual to see herds of Cobia swarming by the boat like hungry sharks or Red Snapper coming up to the surface like pets. The Lump, which is a large salt dome, is located approximately 19 miles south of the mouth of the Mississippi River. It is home to one of the best tuna fisheries in the world. Triple digit Yellowfin tuna are common and 200+ fish are always a possibility! During the summer months better weather gives us the opportunity to take you to where the fish come from, the floating oil platforms of the Gulf of Mexico. These platforms hold all types of pelagic species such as Mahi-Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, Sailfish, White Marlin, Striped Marlin, and Blue Marlin!
